Air Quality index(AQI) Monitoring System Project Kit – all component available –
This AQI monitoring project includes the measurement and display of real-time environmental conditions with an Arduino Uno interfaced with a combination of gas and climate sensors. The system includes a DHT sensor that records temperature and humidity, making sure that even the atmospheric conditions around the air quality readings are captured. For the detection of gases, it includes three types of specialized sensors: the MQ-4 sensor for methane detection, the MQ-9 sensor for carbon monoxide monitoring, and the MQ-135 sensor, which is a general air quality sensor able to detect a range of harmful gases. Collectively, they provide a comprehensive picture of indoor air quality.
The detailed circuit will be assembled on the breadboard, to which all components are interconnected via jumper wires. It is easy to assemble and modify the circuit. The processed data is sent to the user via an Arduino Uno that controls a 16×2 LCD display, on which AQI values and gas levels are presented in a clear way. It contains a USB-to-Type A cable for simple connection to a computer or a power adapter. Additionally, it should include a user manual that will help with setting up, operating, and troubleshooting. Overall, this project offers a practical and educational solution for monitoring air quality using accessible electronic components.
